Sari silk notebook mini (sold singly)
Please note that these are sold singly, therefore 1 random colour will be sent.
These beautiful Fair Trade sari covered notebooks will add a burst of colour to your writing. The perfect size to slip into your bag, they’re the ideal companion for notes, doodles, or just for your to-do lists. Each notebook is filled with pages of unlined, handmade khadda paper.
Approximate dimensions: 10*8.5cm
Expertly crafted using both contemporary and traditional methods, each one is bound by hand and ready to withstand any knocks and bumps on their journeys with you. The sari material comes from Varanasi, one of the most religious cities in the world and a centre of excellence for sari making.
The pages are created from khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi). This sustainable material is crafted by hand from recycled cotton, salvaged from the huge waste of the Indian garment industry. Only unbleached cotton is used, ensuring the paper is acid-free. Lightly textured and luxuriously thick, it feels beautiful to write, draw, or paint on. While it’s perfect for ball-point pens, gel pens, or watercolours, we wouldn’t recommend it for use with fountain pens.
Due to the handmade nature of our products each one is unique, but loveliness comes as standard.
