Cauliflower romanesco seeds

Sowing

Annual: sow seeds in cell trays with multi-purpose peat-free compost. Thin to one seedling per tray. Plant out in June/July.

Alternatively sow sparingly, 2cm deep in a seed bed. Thin to 15cm apart for mini cauliflowers or 60cm to achieve larger heads.

‘Romanesco’ does best in fertile soil in full sun and needs regular watering. Protect from birds and caterpillars.
